Specialized Sequoia 2018 Road Bike Review
The Specialized Sequoia 2018 is the entry model for the Sequoia series. It comes with a body frame constructed from a mix of stainless steel tubing and Cr-Mo. It comes with up to three water bottle racks, and fenders are integrated to keep the rider hydrated as he rides along. There is also a mudguard provided to keep mud away from the parts of the bike. The hydraulic disc brake system is great at providing high stopping power even as you take those corners with the smooth Shimano shift levers.
STRONG BODY FRAME
The body frame of this road bike is made from premium Chromoly with a specific size stainless steel tubing. This frame makeup ensures that the bike is strong despite its lightness. The geometry of the bike, which is designed for adventure, gives bikers the confidence to take on rough and uneven terrains without tumbling over. The frame is integrated with water bottles racks and a fender for hydration anytime.
SAWTOOTH TYRES
The tyres on the Sequoia 2018 are designed to cope with the demands made on them from exploring. This comes in the form of different roads and terrains they come in contact with. The tyres have enough angles with edges to provide sufficient traction. They are also equipped with an endurance casing feature, which enables the tyres to cope with heavy weights and puncture-resistant.
STRONG FORK DESIGN
The fork of this road bike model is quite strong. This makes it easy for the bike to withstand weights from heavy loads without giving way whilst holding it own in the design department. This is despite it being lightweight. The fork has an internal pathway for headlamp cables as well. Thus, headlamp cables tangling with your legs as you ride is curbed.
