Trek Emonda SL 5 Disc Performance Bike 2020 Review
The Trek Emonda SL 5 Disc is a performance bike with a frame made from lightweight carbon. The light frame facilitates riding at top speeds with this bike. It has great stopping power courtesy of all-terrain, flat mount hydraulic disc brakes. The wheels are tubeless, ensuring great reactions and stability during cycling. Riding at high intensity is comfortable as the seat saddle rests on a vibration absorbing seatmast.
Lightweight carbonized frame
The body frame of the Emonda 5 Disc is made from high-quality OCLV Carbon 5000 series. It is light, enabling the biker to travel at top speeds, cope with everyday riding, and great body reflex response is tricky shoddy terrains. Integrated as part of the frame are rack and fender mounts, which makes the packing of necessary items very easy. There is also provision for water bottle mounts, for adequate hydration.
Efficient braking system
The braking system of this bike is designed in a flat-mounted disc version. This makes it smaller, lighter, and easy to maintain when compared to that of regular bikes. The disc brakes are very efficient at providing a biker with sufficient stopping force when needed, regardless of the topography. Complementing the disc brakes are tires designed for riding on rough surfaces. They are tubeless and wide enough to cope with gravel.
