The specialized Sirrus X 4.0 is a hybrid bike designed to offer comfort to bikers on any terrain hence, the body geometry saddle, pedals and handgrips, 38mm-wide tires, and the future shock suspension system. The structure of this bike gives riders an upright position preventing arching and making riding very comfortable. Apart from the comfort, specialized Sirrus X 4.0 comes with lightweight carbon forks that are more responsive especially for people who take longer rides.
Wide Shimano gear range
The specialized Sirrus X 4.0 has a wide gear range (minimum-11 teeth and maximum-42 teeth cassette and 1×12 speed Shimano Deore). This gearing provides precise shifting for long-distance rides. The wide range of gear enables riders to weather the steepest of inclines even while carrying stuff. Even with the least cog (11), there is still plenty of gear to propel the bike up a mountain without putting in much effort.
38mm-wide tires with a Presta 48mm valve
This bike can boast of its 38mm-wide tires which have the capacity to provide a more stable ride. The tires grips and traction allows for smooth riding even on gravel and muddy terrain. The Presta valve imbued tires give more support, especially when pedaling up an incline with less speed. The 700c rims and double-wall alloy helps hold the tires in place for a more reliable ride.
Future shock suspension system
This is a coil shock located just above the head tube and under the stem, it also features a 20mm of travel. Its position (above head tube) enables the bike to move in a vertical path and because it is placed under the stem, the bike’s wheels are firmly held together by the frame. This feature does a good job of keeping you balanced when you are riding on rough roads and taking sharp turns while maintaining your speed.
